Network connectivity via Wi-fi and MiFi gives users a more options thanks to Apple’s iPad

With a lot of companies sprouting out today in the technological industry, it will surely become, if not hard, but confusing to users to choose from which company to buy which device. In addition to that a whole lot of new technological devices have also surfaced! Talk about a bugging headache!

In this industry, in order to become successful a company must be able to hold its ground and stand still amid the growing number of competitions. And that’s exactly what Apple is trying to do, with much success. The company has established such a reputation which in turn earns them a great number of loyal users.

Now, with the introduction of the iPad, Apple aims to gather more users and definitely keep their old ones eager for more. With the use of the iPad, it will be able to increase the asset value of fixed-line operators like the BT Group, which has 4,000 Openzone hotspots and 500,000 BT FON hotspots which can be found in UK. Since iPad will enable Wi-Fi usage, additional investment in the latter will be possible, titling the competitive balance back to fixed.

In a broader sense, a good urban Wi-Fi network which is tossed for free along with a fixed network rental, debates on whether this will fish out substitutional or additional telecom spend could start. Apple’s iPad will stir up old and new types of investments when it comes to Wi-Fi and Mifi technology. This will in turn give users more option and security whenever they connect to a network.
